What makes North Carolina garage rock band, The Nude Party, so cool is their unabashed kinship to '60s legends like The Rolling Stones and The Kinks.  "Water on Mars" is their latest retro rock 'n' roll jam that leans more into psychedelia than previous cuts from their upcoming self-titled LP.

Laced with layers of mellotron, vibrating organs, and droning guitars, the tune provides the perfect backdrop for a sun-kissed cruise up the coast, or a carefree summertime hang.  The background "la-la's" give an especially groovy touch.  If this track is indicative of the rest of the record, this is sure to be a summer LP worth checking out.
